USES

Pt ASTM B561 has excellent corrosion resistance with a high oxidation temperature and is implemented in the manufacturing of medical components in a range of medical devices.

MANUFACTURING CHARACTERISTICS

Pure platinum is manufactured by melting chemically precipitated sponge or powder in an induction furnace. Platinum has a high melting point.

APPLICATIONS

Pacemakers, implantable defibrillators, catheters, stents and neuormodulation devices.
