Palladium brazing alloys are ternary alloys made of silver, copper, and palladium. With a 5-36% palladium content, these alloys are often used to braze a variety of materials from stainless steel to metalized ceramics. These alloys generally have good resistance to oxidation, wet readily, and have high temperature strength, making them suitable for aerospace turbine applications and vacuum tube devices.
