Gold Silver Vacuum Grade Copper Nickel Aluminum


Brazing and soldering alloys should be carefully selected to meet your specific braze application. Copper, nickel, silver aluminum and gold are the commonly used brazing alloys in metal joining industries. P&I offers the following brazing alloys in a variety of forms inlcuding wire, rod, strip/foil, powder and paste to ensure that customers are using the best product for their metal joining processes.

Silver Brazing Alloys
  • Cadmium Free Silver Brazing Alloys - Versatile: Used for brazing steel, brass, bronze, nickel and copper alloys as well as ferrous and non-ferrous metals (except for aluminum and manganese)
  • Cadmium-Bearing Silver Brazing Alloys - Versatile: Used on nearly all nickel, iron/steel and copper based alloys. High Strength. Lowest melting point of all silver-based brazing alloys

  • Silver Phosphorus Brazing Alloys - 
  • Self fluxing
  • Promote elextrical conductivity
  • Ductile
  • Primarily intended for copper-copper and copper-brass joints using brazing flux
Vacuum Grade Brazing Alloys
  • Vacuum grade brazing alloys are free of high-vapor-pressure elements and are manufactured to maintain impurities at low levels. Vacuum grade brazing alloys are used to fabricate vacuum tubes for electronic devices for which service life and operating characteristics are of prime importance.
Copper Brazing Alloys
  • Generally used for brazing of carbon and alloy steels, stainless steel, nickel and copper-nickel
