P&I POWDERS

Brazing filler metal powders are produced using various methods, including atomization, sintering, and crushing. The powders are then screened to collect certain size fractions to meet industrial or OEM specifications. Powders come in either coarse or fine mesh sizes to meet the application method.

POWDER APPLICATION METHODS:

  1. Slurries - powder + a suitable binder
  2. Dusting - sprinkling the powder onto the surface
  3. Spraying - using a binder through an applicator
